The greatest gift to any school is the dedication of its teachers. The ISUW has truly been blessed with 16 such educators, whose love for their Deen is clearly reflected in their teachings. Our objective is to develop a strong awareness of our Creator and Provider in our lives, to be able to see the countless blessings that are showered upon us by Allah (swt), and to try and acquire a state of gratitude by fully understanding, learning, and implementing the way of life prescribed for us.
Lessons are taught in an age-appropriate manner with educational tools to enhance the students' knowledge, and to make learning more pleasurable. Much importance is given to the implementation of our faith in everyday life by emphasizing salat (prayer), adab (manners), and by trying to develop an understanding of the purpose of life.
Children, ages 4 to 18, are divided into eleven levels to ensure that each group receives maximum benefit from lessons specifically designed for that age group. Adult classes for men and women are held simultaneously. Classes are held every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Children will be placed in appropriate levels according to age and knowledge. Books can be purchased at school.
