Islamic Studies:
This class is intended to take students through a journey in which they will insha Allah develop themselves into better Muslims with more consciousness of Allah.  We will follow a process laid out in a book titled, "Rising Soul:  A Guide to Personal Tarbiyah."  In it the author conveys a set of practical steps for removing and abandoning bad habits, and instilling good characteristics in their place.  We will study the meaning and steps required to rid ourselves of habits such as gossip, using distasteful language, vanity, and becoming overly attached to material things.  This is followed by a similar approach to understanding and taking steps to cultivate character such as sincerity, patience, contentment, and having reliance on Allah.

Islamic Manners

The students will study the sublime Islamic personality and study the adab of a Muslim in different situations and circumstances in life for example weddings, when visitng the sick and condolences, manners of visiting people and conversations with them etc.                                                                                                                                                                      Book(s) Islamic Manners
